After a long trip, I have finally arrived in Niger, Africa. My first activity was seeing an old ruin place called Djado, which is a natural and cultural world heritage site. It is a world heritage site because it was made 1500-3000 years ago, and it is important to the Niger people. I am astonished as a 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck on the 18/1/17 on Wednesday and the ancient buildings still survived! The first thing I saw were these, overwhelmingly massive walls that look tiny from far ahead. It was as old as a dinosaur, so old that if these timeworn stones were to be pushed it would fall and possibly break. The temperature there was as if you were sizzling in the sun. The amount of water you want to drink is unbelievable as the heat scorches you. I drank about 3 bottles in an hour! Being there I saw so many awesome things that you much check out including things like ancient paintings that look like a giraffe, or a donkey.

For my second activity I will be exploring the, which rise high off the landscape to more that 1800m. This mountain is surprisingly home to an array of wildlife such as baboons, hyenas and desert species such as the fennec. I highly recommend this activity for people who like to explore different place like myself. When I got off the taxi and it drove off, my heart was pulsing because I had left my passport in the back seat off the car. I was thinking to myself how was i gonna get $500 to get another one, but luckily this super rich citizen named Zoe gave me $500. She felt sorry for me and didn’t have anything else to do with her money. I was quite mournful because I didn’t make it in time, to explore the Air Mountains in all this confusion.
